Take the Merlin exit off I-5 travel through Merlin towards Galice about 20 miles on the Merlin-Galice Road.  After you pass Merlin there are 2 popular access ramps, Alameda Bar and further down the road Grave creek boat ramp, most put in at Grave Creek. There is overnight camping at Alameda Campground run by Joesphine County. No camping is allowed at Foster Bar; there have been car break-ins don't park your car there overnight.   There are many shuttle companies along the Merlin-Galice road, no need for advance reservations.
