Sand Island to Mexican Hat River Log

User Descent Date Notes
dbstrats 05-27-2011 Flows were around 1000 CFS. Bugs weren't bad at all. On the last day we got hit with a huge wind storm that lasted 12+ hours. Gusts were easily above 50 MPH and completely stopped us from rowing out. We had to spend an extra night on the river waiting for the winds to die. Other than that the trip was a blast.

Four days, camped at River House, Perched Meander and River Right just before Sulphur Spring.  On river with Benedicts and Monthathongs, two rafts, two canoes, SUP, inflatable kayak and kayak.  Great time was had by all.
