Description

3-8 on the Grand Canyon Scale.  II to IV on the international scale.  Easier at high water since the right hand sand/gravel bar is covered up and can a route can be found down that side.  At the bottom of the rapid near center river is the large hole that gives the rapid this name.  Whatever route you choose you should avoid hitting this hole.
