Logan River - Staircase Section - 2nd Dam to 1st Dam

Description

This is the most difficult runnable stretch of the Logan river.  You should be an advanced paddler to run this.  Scout for wood from the road as there are few eddies while on the river.  

This run starts with a class III section.  A diversion dam is below Red Bridge.  There is a large hole here. Scout and run or portage.  Downstream from here is a class V section.
