Whitewater Forum : Sauk Wood |
Author: JoesKayak Subject: Sauk Wood Posted: 13 Jun 2019 at 9:42am There's a new tree in the river, spanning most of the channel about 50 yards downstream of Six of One Rapid (Alligator Drop). It toppled in right there and the root ball is still on the right bank. At medium flows you can paddle around it to the left but at low water you may need to portage (also on left). It's in the moving flat water below the rapid (and just above the next rapid). On our last trip we all ran Six of one on the left for an extra measure of caution. It's a fresh tree with lots of branches, so not something you'd want to swim into.

Whitewater Forum : Summer Roll Sessions |
Author: megspk Subject: Summer Roll Sessions Posted: 20 Jun 2019 at 7:25am Hey ya'll! This summer we're looking to put together some informal roll sessions at the lakes around Seattle and probably the Powerhouse. Thinking of starting in July and going through August. I'm looking for people who might be interested in volunteering to "host" which means you'd pick the place and time and post about it here (or I can do that part) and on Facecrack....weeknights are welcome as well as weekends :) HMU if you are interested in helping out. Once things are more established, I'll be sure to share on here too :) Cheers! Megan [email protected] *Please feel free to message me on here, through FB messenger, or my email* |
