- continue past strawberry on U.S. 40 and after about a half an hour you will come to the strawberry pinnacles/red creek exit. follow this dirt road for until you come to the confluence of strawberry river and red creek. you can take out anywhere along this road. if you want to go all the way to starvation reservoir, then stay on U.S. 40 until you come to it. take out at the parking lot area.
