This is one of the larger ruins found in the comb ridge area. This ruin can be accessed from the river (on river right) or from a 4-Wheel drive road that heads south from highway 163 on the west side of comb ridge. This makes for a nice dirt bike, atv, jeep, or mountain bike half day trip if accessing this ruin from roads.
There are also some pictographs here. Some are of long wavy lines which gives this ruin the alternate name of snake house. Corn cobs and pot sherds litter the area. Please only look and don't touch or take these artifacts.
The ancestral puebloan indian culture is believed to have inhabited this area from 700 - 1300 AD.
