Description

This is the most difficult runnable stretch of the Logan river.  You should be an advanced paddler to run this.  Scout for wood from the road as there are few eddies while on the river.  

This run starts with a class III section.  A diversion dam is below Red Bridge.  There is a large hole here. Scout and run or portage.  Downstream from here is a class V section.

Put in just below the 2nd dam on Highway 89 out of Logan.  There is a pull out on the south side of the road.

Take-Out Just Above 1st Dam 4,703 Feet No No No All Vehicles

There is a large pullout (North side of road) off of Highway 89 just above the first dam at the mouth of Logan canyon.  This is the take out for the staircase section.
