Description

A solid and fun Class III section with good river access and a paved bike path along the river for hiking rapids to hit over and over again.  Maneater rapid about half way down is a good spot to hike and hit numerous times.  Watch out for commercial rafting traffic which can be heavy during the weekends of July and early August.

Rapids

# Rapid Class Recommended flow Description Scout
1 China Wall III to IV —–—

I have heard this rapid being called Superstition many times.

Bike path on river right.  Makes it an easy scout for first timers and also makes it easy to lap!

2 Maneater III —–—
3 Tombstone III —–—
4 All Day Wave I —–—

Every run has an all day wave.  Here is Shoshone's.
