Description
An excellent stretch of whitewater below the Joe Wright and the Big South fork best combined with one of the above stretches. Scout the takeout eddy for Poudre Falls before running this section. 1/4 mile above the falls is Rocket Launcher, which deserves a scout. Its capricious hole and short distance above Poudre Falls makes this drop also a frequent portage.
The two main rapids are Cyclotron Canyon (just below Poudre Falls) and Boneyard (just below the bridge), which are sure to leave any class V paddler with a smile on their face regardless of the flow.
