Description

The Clark Fork runs right through the heart of Missoula, MT.  This stretch is mainly class II but is notable for the whitewater park next to Caras Park.  This park contains Brennan's Wave which is playable at most all levels.

Rapids

# Rapid Class Recommended flow Description Scout
1 Brennan's Wave III- to III+ 600–40,000

Named after a prominent Missoula paddler who died kayaking in Chili in the early 2000's.  This wave has been home to many rodeo and whitewater competitions.  This is also a very surfable wave at many water levels.  Eddy access is very friendly as well.

Scout from Caras Park if you wish.
