Description
We did a short creek run putting in at the Visitors Center in Ouray, CO and taking out at some old mine property a couple miles out of town. The section in town is mostly class I-II after a mile or so you will reach a rocky diversion looking rapid that drops about 5 feet class IV. Run center right for a manky but doable line. Follow class II until you leave town and the gradient starts to pick up. This section is pretty continous class IV-/IV bouldery read and run and is a lot of fun. If your passing through Ouray and this thing is running, Jump on it and then spend some time at the hot springs in town.
