The Upper NF of the poudre is a good scenic run with wilderness feel. Hopefully you catch this run with good flow and an open gate.

cross the bridge over the upper north fork on the cherokee park rd. and drive up the hill to the obvious lot on the right. park and hike south east along the trail a couple miles until you arive at the river. DO NOT TRESPASS on the private land. 

 

Make sure gate is open prior to doint the drive by calling the forest service
