Description
The run described here begins in a beautiful section of river dubbed “Walls of the Giants” with towering rock walls above and below the put-in. Below the put-in, the river meanders through mostly Class II rapids for several miles. Before reaching the confluence with the Rio Sirupa, there are some more difficult rapids. A good reason to run this section is to access the upper Rio Aros (see description below) at one of the closest points to the take out.
