Description
The Rio Sahuaripa meanders through the valley to join the Rio Yaqui just above the highway bridge west of town. The scenery is nothing special although there are some interesting rock walls along this section. There is a reservoir several miles upstream of Sahuaripa that makes releases for agriculture, generally in the fall. This section is generally runnable after a good rainstorm during the monsoon season.
