How big are you? There is a local Wenatchee/Cashmere boater that has one he might let you try out. I paddled one in the GC, what are you looking for out of a boat?

There is an 8.0 for a decent price here:

Look in my 2016 photo folder. I uploaded the sheet that I used as a guide after I had shoulder surgery for a torn labrum. I used this with super light weight for about 6 months and then I worked the weight up (slightly). I do this entire routine after every workout, 20 reps each hand, through the 6 exercises. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I did a lot of these exercises when trying to recover from a small rotator cuff tear. If you take the surgical tubing, tie a knot in the end, and shut it in a door, it will be a great way to anchor it.

Paddling was great rehab as long as I kept my hands 'in the box'. Anytime I started reaching up / high bracing I'd get quite a bit of pain. Try to use pain as your guide, avoid stuff that causes those instant flashes of pain.

Um, it's in. Let's go!

Full gorge runs preferred, requiring a sprint mentality, and doesn't allow for mishaps as much. Can meet early enough for daylight requirements.

Upper run is fine too.

I was thinking more of a midday meet time.

Unfortunately, my dog is very obviously having issues (I think he pulled/strained something last night as hyper as he is, and getting older that's not in his favor, he doesn't even want to go for a walk this morning).

I probably cannot make it today. I was hoping to (got up at 4 to get work out of the way and now that plan is shot).

Aiming at early-ish tomorrow just in case the ACoE decides to drop the flows. Hopefully they won't change it today.....

There's a 20% chance I'll just ditch work, nurse the dog, and some peeps want to meet for a nooner or whatever.

If you're anything larger than a pixie, the 8.0 will be too small. I have an 8.5 (63 gal. ish?) @ 185lbs, and the thing is a playboat. The 9.0 is a lot bigger, and paddles like a creek boat with a lil bit of playfulness in the stern. Great edges though, lots of fun on big water runs.
