Whitewater Forum : Bulkhead replacement?

Professor Paddle · Washington, Oregon and vicinity

Author: megspkSubject: Bulkhead replacement?Posted: 29 Apr 2016 at 10:42amYup, that's the only difference between the two boats really. The hull is exactly the same. Just the seat and the foam vs. plastic pillar outfitting is the difference. I think there is a slight cost variant too....the river runner is about 100/150 cheaper than the creeker version.

Whitewater Forum : Bulkhead replacement?

Professor Paddle · Washington, Oregon and vicinity

Author: megspkSubject: Bulkhead replacement?Posted: 29 Apr 2016 at 8:58amDan, what's the point? Just buy the non creeker Mamba and that's got the foam instead of the plastic. I'm assuming you are paddling an 8.6.....the Creeker Mamba weighs 51 lbs and the Mamba (with foam) weighs 50 lbs on this year's models. So about a weight difference of 1 lb. And less work for you! Just keep being your awes...
