Vasey's Paradise is found just down river from South Canyon on the right hand side. There is a waterfall coming out of the Redwall Limestone creating a mini paradise of water, flowers and moss in the Grand Canyon.
The Powell expedition named Vasey's paradise after the botanist George W. Vasey.
