This is the traditional takeout for river runners doing the daily section of the Salt.  Drive out of Globe on Highway 60/77, drop into Salt River Canyon, cross the bridge, and turn left on a dirt road.  Drive to the bottom of a short hill and turn right.  Drive about 8 miles to the end of the road at Hoodoo.  This drive will require crossing Cibeque Creek, which depending on flows can be tricky.  A high clearance vehicle is recommended.
