Description

This is the premier canoe run in the state of Utah.  Float from Green river to mineral bottom or go all the way to the confluence and get motored back to Moab.  Or bag cataract canyon if you can swing it.  Plenty of scenery, camping, and hikes.

Access

Type Name Elevation Camping Water Boat ramp Vehicle access Description
Put-In Green River Boat Ramp 4,047 Feet No No Yes All Vehicles

Follow the road to Green River State Park and then follow it to the end where it meets the river.  While you're in town visit the Jon Wesley Powell museum.

Put-In Mineral Bottom Landing Yes No No All Vehicles

This can be used as the take out for just running Labyrinth Canyon or you can put in here for a Stillwater or Cataract run.

NOTE: In 2010 the Mineral Bottom Road has been washed out.  This makes getting vehicles to this access point very difficult.  Until the road is fixed you will have to use Spring Canyon or follow the White Rim Trail clockwise for 80 miles or so to reach this point. Check with Canyonlands National Park for current road conditions.

Camps
