Description

This is a perfect run for families with small kids. You will also see lots of fishermen on this stretch.  Be aware though.  Just because this is a class I/II run don't take it for granted.  There are lots of river channels, down trees and other obstacles you need to watch out for.  Also at lower water you need to watch for shallows and river channels that won't take a raft.

There is a parking lot and boat ramp directly up river from the Snake River Sports Club bridge.

Put-In Pritchard 5,844 Feet No No Yes All Vehicles

This primitive boat ramp can be found directly across the highway from the fall creek road turn off.

Take-Out Elbow 5,789 Feet No No Yes All Vehicles

A couple of miles up river from the east table boat ramp the road makes an elbow turn north. This put-in or take-out can be found here.

Take-Out West Table No No Yes All Vehicles

This is a very popular boat ramp and put-in/take-out. This is the start of the main alpine canyon run. Lots of traffic and commercial use. The commercial companies have their own parking lots and ramps so make sure you use the correct ramps when putting on.

This is a USFS campground.  It is mainly accessed from the highway but there are a few campsites that are on the river.  There are about 20 sites here and they fill up quickly on busy weekends.
