Description

Boulders and blue water, 40 cfs One of the upper steep drops near the rock climbing areas. Paddler:Rodney Larsen Photographer:Daniel Anderson This is a fun, steep, rocky, narrow, fast run with timber portages, fast currents and small eddies. It is recommended that you scout each foot of the river each descent so that you will know where to get off the water to avoid getting stuffed under a log or log jam. Setting up safety at the steeper drops is highly recommended. FLOW: The following gauge is at Sawmill Picnic area at road mile post 11. Check this for the Sawmill gauge estimate and forecast LINK .
