Description

This creek is named after a family of Nez Perce Indians who once lived in this area. Jackson Sundown, a Nez Perce who became a world champion rodeo rider in 1916 at the age of 53, worked on the ranch in this drainage.

Easy walk to historic ranch located 3/4 mile up Wapshilla Cr. from the Salmon river
