I'm putting it in this post too so it stays in view: Hi, the state is trying to get a bill passed that would allow Dept. of Ecology to bypass minimum instream flow laws in favor of economic interests and there's an easy way you can help. There is a really short form that just requires typing your address, clicking 'Verify District', and clicking "Oppose" if you are against this bill, SB 5003. In the comment box "I oppose this bill" is sufficient. Link is here: https://app.leg.wa.gov/pbc/bill//5003 This would have a potentially HUGE effect on the Sunset Falls hydro project approval which is still crawling forward even though financially the hydro project would be a money pit for Snohomish County ratepayers, the instream flows are the biggest stumbling block right now. Author: irenen Subject: Missing guy Money Creek campground area Posted: 25 Jan 2017 at 12:07pm This person's boat has been found, it capsized somewhere between just below Money Creek and around 2.75 miles downstream, where it was found. Search and Rescue has been notified. Please keep an eye out for anything that looks like camping gear, etc. anywhere downstream of here since some of it may have fallen out of the boat and probably SAR and the family would want to know about it.
