Description
This is an extremely popular commercial, private and fishing section of river just below the base of the Flaming Gorge dam. During summer months, the put-in ramp is one of the busiest ramps in the west.
This is a great day float for first time boaters. A few splashy rapids without much consequence. The water coming off the bottom of the reservoir is quite cold though so make sure to dress appropriately if you think you will be spending any time in the water.
The fly fishing here is world class.
