We hiked into the NF Sky yesterday 02.21.16. This time we put in at Rooster Tail. The flow was a bit low, but we still had plenty of fun. The 4-5 mile hike wasn't too bad either. We hiked the "trail" closest to the river to get around the washout. This saved a significant amount of time and effort. Otherwise the walk on the road was pleasant. The river from Rooster Tail to Trout Creek was in good shape. There is no major wood in play. I'm looking forward to seeing it again with more flow. The hike is well worth it. Earn your boofs!
